Limiting colour often works best, I find that particularly when travelling so things can be mixed and matched, working with paint as you have been doing is certainly working for you.

Hi Bree, nice post and pics! Love the "but not just any car." And oh yes, many cats do need to lead every parade. :-) I used to have a very sweet 'Holstein' kitty. (White with black spots.) She loved to climb ladders and trees. In the summer she would climb to the roof and sleep on her back in the gutter. She really loved that. Happily she lived well into her 20's and kept her kitteny ways her whole life.

Thanks Sandy. Glad you enjoy my post. Your Holstein kitty sounds like such an adorable girl! I don’t know our cat’s breed, but his coat has a similar Holstein pattern, he’s a sweet boy too. I have a separate newsletter just about him, where I share sketches, little stories and haik from his daily adventures.

Oh! Thank you for the Max link! Love your drawings of him soo much! When I referred to my white and black kitty as a Holstein kitty, it is just what I called her, because of her markings....very much like Max's! My kitty was named 'Barely' because she was born almost 24 hours after the other kittens in her litter. A total surprise when I saw her the next morning and looking completely different from the other kittens. She was noticeably smaller than her siblings. But she was full of life and yet also very sweet. I will look forward to your Max drawings! Thank you for sharing him!

Barely sounds like a true treasure, sometimes, the best really does come last!
