Lost in color
My newest painting tools, beloved beanie…
A newly opened art supplies store nearby caught my eye. It carries many tools for Chinese brush painting. I’ve been intrigued by this art form for some time. I picked out a few supplies - brushes, an inkstone, and an ink stick. I couldn’t wait to try them once I got home.
After my first attempt, I realized I had lost my beloved beanie. I retraced my route, but with no luck. The beanie had random color variations, like a wandering creek. I knitted it last year using self-striping alpaca yarn I bought a decade ago in Salt Lake City.
Oh no, hope it turns up somewhere :(
